The Faculty of Communication (\u0130LEF) at Ankara University, in collaboration with the Institut Fran\u00e7ais Turquie (French Cultural Center), organized events on March 26, 2026, through the NETlab New Media Research Laboratory, where the role of artificial intelligence in art production was explored from various perspectives. Throughout the day-long program, academics, artists, and students came together. The events were held at Ankara University\u2019s Cebeci Campus and the French Embassy in Turkey.<\/p>\n

The series of events began in the morning at the MT\u00d6 Cinema Hall of the Faculty of Communication at Ankara University. Netlab Teknoloji Seminerleri ve At\u00f6lyeleri\u2019nin<\/em> 11. bulu\u015fmas\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda “Kodla Boyamak \u2013 Sanatta Yapay Zeka ve Sanal Ger\u00e7eklik” semineri, \u00f6\u011frencileri ve akademisyenleri bir araya getirdi.<\/p>\n

The seminar\u2019s guest was French video artist J\u00e9r\u00e9my Griffaud, who is internationally renowned for his works that merge virtual reality - AI and projection technology. Griffaud shared his works\u2014including \u201cUnder the Sky,\u201d \u201cThe Power Plant,\u201d and \u201cThe Garden,\u201d which have been exhibited in various countries\u2014with the participants, explaining how artificial intelligence is integrated into creative production processes. Following a discussion on the technical tools and software he uses, the artist\u2019s digital game-based interactive designs were experienced by the audience through virtual reality (VR) headsets.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
